At the 2018 Str8UpGayPorn Awards, Diego Sans wore a t-shirt that said #EleNão — Portuguese for 'not him' — to protest Jair Bolsonaro's election in Brazil. At the CyberSocket Awards that same year he showed up in drag. His real name is Luiz Faria. He moved from Brazil to the US in 2009, worked as a personal trainer and go-go dancer, debuted at Randy Blue, appeared on the dating show Swiping America under his real name, and won GayVN Best Actor in 2019. He does not compartmentalize.
